MUSEUMS AND ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES BELOW ARE OPEN TO INTERNATIONAL VISITORS ON JANUARY 1, 2 AND 3, 2021



We would like to inform you that the below-listed museums and archaeological sites affiliated with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey and that attract large numbers of international visitors will be open on January 1, 2 and 3, 2021. All museums in Istanbul affiliated to the Ministry, including Galata Tower, Aksaray Ihlara Valley Archaeological Site, Denizli Hierapolis Museum and Archaeological Site, Izmir Ephesus Museum and Archaeological Site, Izmir Ephesus Basilica of St. John, Konya Mevlana Museum, Nevşehir Göreme Archaeological Site, Nevşehir Karanlık Kilise (Dark Church), Nevşehir Kaymaklı Underground City, Nevşehir Zelve-Paşabağlar Archaeological Site, Myra Archaeological Site, and St. Nicholas museum will be open to international visitors on January 1, 2 and 3, 2021. Topkapı Palace affiliated with the National Palaces will be closed on January 1, 2021 however it will be open to visitors on January 2 and 3, 2021.
